DAR holds business meeting

Col. Gilbert Potter Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met at the home of Mary Menkes of Massapequa for their annual business meeting. All chapter officers gave their reports and the officers for the new team were installed by the District Director, Norma Plett. Scholarship Chairman Janice Todt of Amityville announced the winner chosen to receive the scholarship at the awards ceremony held at the Amityville Memorial High School. The winner is Amanda Egan. Chapter members serving on the refreshment committee include Karen Mormando and Caroline D'Antonio and Jeannette Krauszer poured.
