Marcie Moher advances in U.S.Navy ET3 (SW) Marcie Moher, the daughter of Lucy and Harry Parfitt and the late Joseph Moher, of Amityville, has advanced in the U.S.Navy. ET3 (SW) Moher, stationed in Jacksonville, Florida, advised her family that she was advanced to Electronic Technician Second Class Surface Warfare. She has just finished two tours in Iraq and will be going back for her third.
The Amityville Girl Scouts and Ladies of Beta Sigma Phi supported her and her shipmates with supplies during their last tour. Soon to start her ninth year in the Navy, she asked "to please keep all the Armed Forces in your prayers and to please keep letting us know we are being supported from home."
