At the Library...
+The Amityville Public Library invites you to be a part of its history by purchasing a brick to be placed in the Centennial Anniversary Garden walkway. Bricks can celebrate a happy event, commemorate an achievement, memorialize a loved one, or honor an organization. The Garden is a living landmark celebrating 100 years of service to the community. Order forms are available at the Library. The cost of each engraved brick is $75 and allows for up to three lines of 14 characters each. Order form, with payment, must be submitted by July 31. +On Thursday, June 21, 7 to 8 p.m. genealogist and author Sandi Brewster-Walker will discuss life on Long Island during the 1940s and 1950s.
