+Charles Kalinowski, of Amityville, received a Certificate of Advanced Study from The College of Saint Rose, Albany, in the fall of 2006.

+Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, Hicksville, announced its honor rolls for the third quarter recently. Local residents named to the "A" honor roll for an average of 90 or better from Amityville are Marisa Caramanico, Lauren Priola, Emily Tannenbaum and Michele Theroux and from Copiague are Adam Bates, Elizabeth Montoya, Dennis Sheehan and Lauren Spanjich. Those named to the "B" honor roll are Anna Stec of Amityville and Anthony Giannini of Copiague Harbor.

+Briarcliffe College, with campuses in Bethpage and Patchogue, recently held commencement ceremonies for graduates on May 30. Graduates from Amity-ville are Jillian M. Brewster, Valerie L. Brown, Michael W. Jones, Nichelle N. Martin, Ravin E. McDonald and Sergine A. Trazile and from Copiague are Eric Verschoore, Elissa Lopez, Ruben Lowe and Adelkis M. Rodriguez.
