ATA holds Math contest

Each spring the Amityville Teacher's Association (ATA) hosts a mathematics contest. This year's theme was Math in the workplace. Students were asked to create a project to exemplify the theme. At each grade level students were chosen to receive an award for their work. The ATA awards night was May 3. Among the winners for the district were the Abate brothers, Anthony, grade five; Patrick, kindergarten and Andrew, grade three.
