Amity Woman's Club holds annual meeting

The Amityville Woman's Club held its annual meeting at the Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club Tuesday, May 8. President Adrienne Miller highlighted the accomplishments of the past year, presided over the presentation of annual report from committee chairs and officers and installed next year's executive board.

Lori Waegerle, membership chair, inducted 11 new members including Pat Bretscher, Marie Caridi, Patricia Connors, Fran Crimi, Joan Donnison, Kathy Hillger, Karen Hutcheson, Helen Kennedy, Ann Noseworthy, Sally Powell and Virginia Todaro. She also presented longevity awards to Thelma Brice for 50 years of membership, Dorothy Schub for 45 years, Rachael Erath for 40 years and Kay Baker for 35 years.

Following the business meeting the members enjoyed a luncheon and a presentation on Elderhostel by speaker Terry Donohue.
