Amity School District students showcase artwork at Westfield Mall

Residents of Amityville and other surrounding communities enjoyed a colorful display of creativity and talent during the Amityville Public School District's Second Annual Art Exhibit at Westfield Sunrise Mall. Students from all schools in the district showcased a variety of artwork they created during the school year, and received awards for the results of their hard work. The exhibit, planned and facilitated by art teacher Karen Fabian was well attended, attracting hoards of curious customers who were visibly impressed with the display of talent. The district's Jazz Band was also on hand to greet visitors to the exhibit with a lively selection of tunes. "The students of Amityville have so many wonderful talents," stated Fabian.
