Amityville Woman's Club holds annual Philanthropy Luncheon

The Amityville Woman's Club held its Philanthropy Luncheon on March 18 at the Southwood Ho Country Club in Bay Shore. There were approximately 130 attendees at the luncheon that was hosted successfully by Adele Muncy and some of her committee.

The luncheon offered chance books and a Chinese auction with entertain- ment by Mike Forgione at the piano. The fashion coordinator and announcer was Ellen Ricciuti and the fashions were by the Dress Barn, Puddle Duck and Renate's Bridal Fashion which were modeled by the Amityville Woman's Club and their Junior League of Amityville and their children and grandchildren.

The models were Giana Arena, Anita Caramanico, Amanda Creamer, Christina Creamer, John Garry, Martina Higgins, Jennie Locowski, Ethel MacGill, Mary Reilly, Dot Schneider, Marilyn Schroder, Joan Sudermeister, Jackie Teusel, Caroline Tofalli, Jessica Tofalli, Charista Momczyk, Nennifer Tofalli, Tara Wheeler and wardrobe assistants Sue Johnson and Barbara Lozier.

The winners of the chance book prizes were first prize - two tickets

anywhere Jet Blue flies won by Edith Ellis, second prize was $500 cash won by Susan Johnson and third prize theatre tickets to Mary Reilly. Tickets to Disney World won by Carol Seymour.

The proceeds of this event will be announced in the future. Committee members included Sharon Vetter, Ann Tringo, Diane Apgar, Fran Woll, Madeline Sheridan, Anita Caramanico, Ellen Ricciuti, Adele Muncy, Ann Onderdonk and Laure Waegerle andPeggy Gates. Some of the committee is shown above.
