UNAYO to host dance, programs

+United North Amityville Youth Organization Inc. (U.N.A.Y.O.) will be holding a dance Friday, June 1, 8 p.m. to midnight. There will be live music and refreshments and prizes as well as certificates for all participants. All participants with pledges of $100 or more will be invited to a special pizza party. To take part you must be a registered member of U.N.A.Y.O. One hundred percent of the donations will go to support U.N.A.Y.O.'s ongoing efforts to empower the youth of the North Amityville community. +U.N.A.Y.O.'s Junior Youth Leadership Program is requesting donations of baby items including diapers, bottles, wipes, bibs, spoons, clothes, blankets, toys, pacifiers, etc. and paper goods such as paper towels, napkins, tissues, plates, cups etc. In cooperation with the Amityville Rotary Club, all proceeds of this drive will go to Momma's House, Inc. a non-profit corporation that offers mother/child residences on Long Island. +Football registration is being held through Saturday, August 5 at the youth center. Birth certificates are required and children must be ages five to 14. Registration is $100 per child, but you will receive a 10 percent discount off the registration fee if paid in full by June 30. Registration is for tackle football travel teams.For information call 631-789-5613.
