South Oaks appoints new directors

Robert E. Detor, President and chief executive officer of The Long Island Home, comprised of South Oaks Hospital, Broadlawn Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Health Partners of New York announces the appointments of Kenneth Corbin and Wayne Rothwell to new leadership positions.

Kenneth Corbin will become the new director of Adult and Chemical Dependency Services. Corbin has been with South Oaks for more than a year and during this time has demonstrated his management skills and leadership with a focus on an outcome management approach. A direction which is consistent with The Long Island Home model.

Wayne Rothwell has been employed with South Oaks for more than twenty-five years. Rothwell has been appointed the new Director of Children and Adolescent Services. His broad knowledge and experience in providing education and treatment for children and adolescents is well recognized.

Detor, stated, "we are indeed fortunate to have the experience, enthusiasm and dedication of both of these fine professionals here at The Long Island Home."
