School budget vote to be held May 15

On Tuesday, May 15th, from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m., Amityville Memorial High School and Northeast Elementary School will be open for Amityville residents to cast their vote on the 2007-2008 school budget. "The proposed budget takes a conservative approach, yet maintains a quality education for all students," stated Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian De Sorbe. On behalf of the Superintendent, residents are reminded to play an active role in the future of Amityville's students and the community at large by voting on the 2007-2008 school budget.
