Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy was honored by the Long Island Asian-American Cultural Festival for his role in fostering cultural understanding. Levy created Suffolk's first Asian-American Advisory Board in 2005, to serve as conduit to his administration for the needs and concerns of the Asian- American community. Levy received the honor during the First Annual Asian-American Cultural Festival, held in Stony Brook on March 11.
