St. Martin's holds Curriculum Fair

St. Martin of Tours in Amityville held its annual Curriculum Fair. Students in grades five through eight completed p r o j e c t s , first selecting an area of interest in language arts, social studies, scie n c e , p h y s i c a l e d u c a - tion... and then submitting a written report, an oral report, a tri-fold display and a model. All of the students' work was then put on display.

Two outstanding projects were presented by sixth grader Grace Blackler and eighth grader Paul Kronenberg. Grace did her project on Chocolate: The Journey from a Cocoa Bean to a Chocolate Bar. She even had a basket of Hershey chocolate kisses for

sampling. Paul's project was in Language Arts. He wrote a chapter book called The Quest for the Sword and he made a model sword.

Students are shown with their projects.
