St. Martin's students honored at L.I. Hall of Fame Bench Dedication Luncheon

On Monday April 16, four of Amityville's St. Martin of Tours eighth grade students were honored at the Long Island Hall of Fame Bench Dedication Luncheon at Bethpage State Park. Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy was on hand to congratulate all of the honorees.

Shown, left to right, are Jacqueline Durant, high school teacher Barbara Nehr, Donald Kronenberg, Alexandra Lasker, Paul Kronenberg and Joan Imhof, founder of the Long Island Volunteer Center. All of the students honored participated in well over 100 hours of community service projects each and were presented with Certificates of Recognition.
