Scholar News +Lisa Riordan, of Amityville, was named to the dean's list for academic excellence at the State University College at Old Westbury for the fall 2006 semester. She is a graduate of Holy Trinity High School and is studying to be an elementary school teacher. +Michael Bentley, of Copiague, received a scholarship at the March 21 Farmingdale Foundation and Alumni Association Student Scholarship Reception. He is majoring in management of technology.
+Georgette Spanjich, of Copiague, a sophomore in the School of Public Affairs at American University, was named to the fall 2006 deans list at American University, Washington, DC. She is an interdisciplinary major in communication, legal institutions, economics and government.
