POLICE BLOTTER BURGLARY North Amityville: Kitchen cabinets and a counter top were stolen from a home on Pendale Drive March 26. The theft occurred during the early morning hours. GRAND LARCENY North Amityville: A tan Toyota Camry, parked on Campbell Street, was stolen March 23 sometime before 7 a.m. +Several rims were stolen March 21 from a Croydon Road shed. The theft was reported at 8:45 a.m. +On March 22, shortly before 8 p.m., someone stole a 2000 green Saab parked on Melody Lane. Copiague: A 1990 Camry parked on Deauville Blvd was stolen sometime before 3:30 p.m., March 26. +A locked unit at Bi-County Storage on Sunrise Highway North was broken into sometime between March 24 and March 29. Police did not report what was stolen. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF Copiague: On March 26, at about 11:15 a.m., someone vandalized a car parked at the Railroad Avenue LIRR lot. +A number of undisclosed items was taken from a car that was vandalized March 26. The car was parked on Montauk Highway at the time. NorthAmityville: On March 30 sometime before 4 p.m. someone vandalized a car parked at and press Plaza. +Someone broke a car window March 23 at about 1 a.m. The car was parked on East Somerset Road at the time of the incident.
