Amityville Public Library budget vote April 19

The Amityville Public Library will be holding its Proposed 2007/2008 Budget Vote and Trustee Election Thursday, April 19, noon to 9 p.m. at the Library. To vote you must be 18 years of age, or older; a citizen of the United States; have resided in the School District for at least 30 days and be a registered voter in the School District.

Voter registration will take place at the Library on Thursday, April 12, 3 to 7 p.m. A person need register only if he or she has not voted in any political, school or library election in the past four years.

The Library will hold a "public information meeting" about the Proposed Budget on Thursday, April 12, 7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend.

Applications for absentee ballots are available at the Library or at the office of the School District Clerk.
