“Go Green” meeting March 15

The Roundtable for the Common Good will present "Go Green" Thursday, March 15, 7:30 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Rectory basement meeting room, Merrick Road, Massapequa.

Sister Jean Clark, O.P., founder and director of Homecoming, will discuss our spiritual connections to the earth. Learn strategies to respond to the serious problems we face today with our ever-changing environment.

Beth Fiteni, from Neighborhood Network, will offer solutions to the problems of global warming.

The Roundtable for the Common Good is a new environmental social justice group at St. Martin of Tours in Amityville and St. Rose of Lima in Massapequa. The group is dedicated to issues surrounding the environment and poverty.
