Copiague students honored by Board of Education

Copiague Public Schools held a special recognition ceremony to honor 20 students within the district. Members of the Administration, Board of Education, Parent Teacher Associations, and parents gathered to acknowledge the students who serve as positive role models for their fellow classmates.

"Tonight is a night that the Board of Education puts aside twice a year to honor and recognize students who go above and beyond," stated Superintendent of Schools Dr. William Bolton.

This year, the Board recognized students who were honored locally for their musical and athletic talents, helped classmates who don't speak English, and achieved academically on State assessments.
