ASD to hold Compass Meeting
The next meeting of Amityville Compass Coalition (Community, Parents, School, Students) will be held Tuesday, March 13, 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the PPS Suite, end of the North side driveway of the Northwest School, 450 County Line Rd., Amityville. The Suffolk Coalition will be presenting a workshop on risk and protection. The workshop will focus on identifying what the environmental/individual risk factors are that impact our youth and what protective factors can help counter these risks. The workshop will also address how these factors pertain to our own schools, families and communities. For information call 631-225-4610.
