Hearts and best wishes to U.S. Troops

St. Martin of Tours School in Amityville writes out Valentine cards for veterans and our troops overseas. The Student Government at St. Martin's asked that all the classes hand make Valentine cards that will be distributed to our veterans at veteran hospitals and our troops in Iraq. It also asked that each child bring in toiletries, playing cards, gum and hard candy too.

More than 1,000 cards were made. One class in particular really got busy. Patricia Savish's third grade class made 300 cards.
