Thomas O'Reilly: NYC Ironworker

Thomas M. O'Reilly, who worked for the Iron Workers Local #40 in New York City, died December 28, 2006 at his home in Amityville.

Born November 27, 1942 in New York, New York to Catherine (Doyle) and Thomas, he later served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967.

Mr. O'Reilly leaves behind his children: Kerrie, Joseph P. and Michael; his granddaughter, Michelle Ramos; his siblings: Peggy Nolan, Mel, Clare Wittlig, Marie Collins, Julie Morgan, Geralyn Bozza and Patrick; his ex-wife, Cheryl; as well as other loved ones and friends.

Monsignor Jack Corr officiated at the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church assisted by the Consolation Ministry and members of the family. Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home in Amityville.
