CSD voters approve capital improvements Voters in the Copiague School District approved an $11.3 million capital improvement bond and acceptance of the state's EXCEL funding. As a result of the overwhelming voter approval January 25, the Copiague School district will be able to move forward with its improvement plan to address the District's highest priority building infrastructure repair and replacement needs, said school officials.
"Even on one of the coldest nights of the year, residents came out to show their support," said Superintendent of Schools Dr. William R. Bolton. "Thanks to the community's support, the District will be able to continue to provide students with the quality learning environment they deserve and our community expects."
