Amity High School math team successful
The Amityville High School math team went to the 13th Annual Suffolk County Math Tournament at Suffolk Community College at Selden. The team was successful. There were 85 high schools from Suffolk County participating.

The following students were the top scorers for the school: Felicia Weathers with 14 points, William Brooks with 13 points, Michael Dixon with 13 points, Jessica Hernandez with 13 points, Jeffrey Mo with 13 points, Corine Jackman with nine points, Garielle Bernard with nine points and Alicia Weathers with nine points.

The entire team did an excellent job. The other members of the team were Nicole Lee, Shamelia Loiseau, Nancy Interiana, Rebecca Campbell, Lauren Peralta, Travis Ortiz, Candice Russell, Joseph Burt, Catherine Russell and Johanna Hernandez.
