D.A.R.E. program comes to St. Martin's School

The Suffolk County Police Department along with St. Martin's school teaches a Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program for the fifth grade. It gives the kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs and violence. It is a series of classroom lessons that teaches the children how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives. All of the fifth grade learned a lot and received a certificate of completion.
