Stephanie Walton Lee: Amityville Grad and Nurse's Aide
Born June 6, 1956 in Amityville to Frank and Pauline (Frazier) Walton, she was a graduate of Amityville High School, and later lived in Bay Shore, Brentwood and Virginia Beach, Virginia. She returned to Long Island and settled in Deer Park in April, 2006. "She was the life of the party," said Rosemary Kama, a longtime friend and former schoolmate of Mrs. Walton Lee since junior high school. "I'll miss her bubbly personality most of all...she was like my older sister." For many years, Mrs. Walton Lee was employed as a nurse's aid at the Suffolk Developmental Center in Melville until her retirement, and was a parishioner at Bethel AME Church in Copiague. In addition to entertaining, Mrs. Walton Lee also loved to fish, enjoyed music and arts and crafts. Mrs. Walton Lee leaves behind her children: Pauline Lee-Sheppard and her husband Ernie, Elaine Lee- Fassett and her husband Adrian, Bruce and his companion Candice and Laurie Verrios and her husband Aristotle; her grandchildren: Tai'Shawna, Tiajah, Ti'Yhanna, Toriah, Brooks, Tyrell, Troy and Aristotle Jr.; her companion George Galloway, her stepchildren: Amber, Little George and Anaiah; her mother Pauline Frazier, her mothers-in-law Myrna Lee and Alma McLloyd; her brothers: Jeffrey and his wife Robyn, Frank and his companion Nikki, Leland Walton and Terrell Frazier; her sister, Laurie Jackson and her husband Raymond; her ex-husband, Bruce Wayne Lee; her ex-companion, Johann McLloyd; her aunts: Vivian Collins, Betty Frisby, Lillian Frazier and Rae Walton; her uncle, Alphonso Frazier; her nieces: Samantha, Liala and Ashleigh; her nephews: Jordan, Frankie and Jessie; as well as many other loved ones and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Frank, her ex-companion Joseph Hill and her sister Diane.
A Funeral Service was conducted at Bethel A.M.E. Church with Reverend Everton Jones as the Eulogist, followed by interment in Amityville Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home, Inc., Broadway, Amityville.
