Arrest made in Copiague burglary

Suffolk County Police today arrested a Lindenhurst man in connection with several commercial burglaries.

Armed with a picture of the suspect taken by a video surveillance camera at the Spark Clean Laundromat, 1708 Rte. 27, Copiague, detectives from the First Squad arrested Felix Rodriguez, 64, of 8 Berry St., Lindenhurst. He was charged with four burglaries of the Spark Clean Laundromat between September, 2006 and January 6, 2007.

Rodriquez was stealing large quantities of commercial soap and reselling it to other establishments. Some of the proceeds were recovered.

Rodriguez will be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip tomorrow. The investigation is continuing.
