NYS Association of Health Care Providers hosts awards luncheon

The Long Island Chapter of the New York State Association of Health Care Providers (NYSHCP-LI) recently honored 40 caregivers at its 16th annual Caregiver of the Year awards luncheon held at the Crest Hollow County Club in Woodbury. Twenty-one NYSHCP-LI member agencies from Nassau County and 15 from Suffolk County were represented. Each caregiver was recognized for the quality of his or her work and awarded an engraved plaque of acknowledgement, as well as numerous citations and certificates of appreciation from elected officials.

Among those acknowledged were Amityville residents Shaundell Jonas of Region Care, Graciela Hemmings of M-E-A Health Care and Jean Jerrick of M-E-A Health Care.
