At approximately 7:15 a.m., Feb. 24, a driver heading south on Route 110 lost control of his vehicle, plowed through a primary power pole holding two transformers and also broke off a second transformer pole, knocking out power in the area for hours. The driver was not injured. Photo by Joe Turner
