St. Martin of Tours in Amityville helps others
This is the Advent season, a time of preparation, waiting and hope. Miss Kline’s fifth grade class at St. Martin of Tours School in Amityville is collecting food, money and clothes to donate to people in need. The money and food collected will be given to St. Martin’s Parish, and the clothes will be given to Big Brothers, Big Sisters. The students began collecting these items the first Sunday of Advent and will continue up until Christmas. The children made boxes in which to keep all the items.
