BaCCA seeks artists for Rotating Art Program 2007

Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BaCCA) is planning its Rotating Art Program for 2007 and is seeking artists and business sponsors interested in developing partnerships throughout the year. The program is designed to provide places of business with different art work for display every two months. BaCCA artists bring and hang their work at the business site on the first day of the month and retrieve it the last day of the second month. Businesses are able to have six different exhibits in their offices during the year. Artists are able to display their work at a new venue every other month. This program has been popular for many years with artists, businesses, libraries, govern-

ment offices and colleges. Community members often commend the program citing their enjoyment of the artwork when visiting the various participating establishments.

An art showcase takes place on Tuesday, January 9 at the Babylon Town hall Annex in North Babylon. This is the time when artists display samples of their work. Businesses select the artists whose work they would like exhibited in their offices.

Please contact BaCCA at 631-587-3696 if you are interested in obtaining art for your business space or are an artist who would like the opportunity to exhibit in local offices.
