BaCCA announces winter art and ÒDancing Like the StarsÓ classes Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BaCCA) is holding its Winter II art session beginning February 5, 2007. Students can pick and choose from a wide variety of different artistic course. All BaCCA art classes are reasonably priced and taught by trained artists. Classes meet for eight weeks in the BaCCA room at the Babylon Town Hall Annex, 281 Phelps Ln., North Babylon. Registration for the Winter II session must be received by January 29, 2007. Registration is filled on a first come/first served basis. Adult classes include one stroke, drawing, portraits, pastels, oil and acrylics, watercolors, Bob Ross Technique, photography and still life. Children’s classes include basic drawing and painting and progressive art class. BaCCA also announces the return of its dance program, Dancing Like the Stars. This session BaCCA has added a brand new swing dance class taught by Swingtime Entertainment. Also returning is the tango program, taught by instructors from the Argentine Tango Lovers of Long Island. Both classes will be taught for an eight-week session beginning the week of January 3 and ending February 28. The classes will be held Wednesday and Thursdays evenings from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Old TownHall, 47 W est Main St., Babylon Village.
