Good Samaritan Hospital blood drive to be held Wednesday, December 27
Good Samaritan Hospital will be holding an Automated Red Cells Blood Drive, Wednesday, December 27, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Guild Conference Center of the Hospital, 1000 Montauk Hwy., West Islip. To make an appointment call 516-478-5031 or 631-376- 4444. You must have an appointment; walk-in will only be accepted if space allows. Requirements for Double Red Cell donations for males are weighing 136 pounds and being at least five feet, one inch and for females weighing 156 pounds and being five feet, five inches tall. Blood types can be A-, B+, B-, O+ and O-.
