Joseph Tripi: retired NYC Sanitation employee, 69

Retired New York City Sanitation employee and Copiague resident, Joseph P. Tripi died November 16, 2006. He was 69 years old.

He was also retired from the U.S. Army Reserves and a member of the Knights of Columbus of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lindenhurst.

Mr. Tripi leaves behind his wife, Joan (Keogh); his children: Elizabeth and her husband Vinnie and Philip and his wife Michelle; his mother, Nellie; his grandchildren: Lindsay, Vincent and Rocco; his brother, Thomas and his wife Catherine; his brotherin law, William and his wife Jolene and Michael and his wife Debra; his sister-in-law, June; as well as other loved ones and friends. He was predeceased by his brother James.

He reposed at the D’Andrea Brothers Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street, Copiague, on November 18 and 19, 2006. A Funeral Mass was held November 20, 2006 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church followed by interment in St. Charles Cemetery.
