South Oaks Hospital welcomes Yvonne Andrade

Kenneth Corbin, director of chemical dependency and compulsive gambling programs for South Oaks Hospital announces appointment of Yvonne Andrade, LMSW as clinical supervisor of outpatient services for chemical dependency and compulsive gambling. Corbin stated, “he is pleased to have Yvonne Andrade join the healthcare team at South Oaks and is confident her eighteen years experience encompassing a broad range of expertise with various populations combined with her Clinical Case Management skills will be a real asset to the South Oaks Substance Abuse Outpatient programs”.

Andrade’s vision is to continue to provide quality service to the substance abusing population and open the door to the mentally ill chemically addicted population who is in need of the quality and compassionate services that South Oaks Substance Abuse program has to offer. Prior to coming to South Oaks, Andrades spent 16 years with the Visiting Nurse Service of New York utilizing crisis intervention, disaster counseling (9/ 11), psycho-education, treatment and skills enhancement.

Andrade resides in Uniondale with her husband, Elmer, and her ten-yearold daughter, Cristina.
