TOB dune preservation program asks you to take your tree to the beach

The Town of Babylon 9/11 Hometown Memorial “Christmas Tree” Dune Preservation Program is requesting that you bring your Christmas tree, with all the ornaments removed, to the Overlook Beach parking lot Saturday,January 6, 2007, 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will place the trees around the 9/11 Hometown Memorial to create a protective dune to preserve the site naturally.
