Amity COMPASS meeting December 12

Amityville COMPASS Coalition (Community, Parents, School, Students) will hold its next Steering Committee meeting Tuesday, December 12, 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the PPS Suite at the end of the north side driveway of the Northwest School, 450 County Line Rd., Amityville.

We will update on both the Saturday Academy Program and the College Awareness Tour. Input is needed in order to further refine strategies to

implement these programs. In addition, plans will be discussed for upcoming 2007 COMPASSevents, as well as deciding what workshops of interest can be presented at future coalition meetings.

For 2007 the meetings will be held Tuesdays, January 9, March 13, April 10 and June 12. For information call 631-225-4610.
