Copiague High School Marching Band defends its title
No strangers to the stadium on the Syracuse University campus, the 135 member marching band, under the direction of John Wevers, assistant director Jonathan Cutolo, and color guard advisor Liz Brennan, showcased their musical talents and drill team precision as they competed against eight other bands in their division. The band proved to be second to none, as they once again marched away with the championship title. Since 1996, the band has won five New York State Field Band Championships among numerous other prestigious awards.
