The Legend of Sleepy Hollow performed for Great Neck Elementary students

The students at Great Neck Road Elementary School in Copiague were recently treated to a performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Encore Productions, as part of its PTA's cultural arts program. The play is an adaptation of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and is told through monologue, dialogue, action, mime, and song.

During the live musical performance, the students were introduced to the legendary characters of Ichabod Crane, Brom Bones, and the Headless Horseman. Following the performance, the students returned to their classrooms and discussed the lessons learned by the main characters.
