John Milne, 50: former Amityville resident John David Milne, originally from the Amityville area, died October 16, 2006 at University Hospital at Stony Brook. He was 50 years old and had lived in Nesconset. Born July 3, 1956 in Mineola to John and Barbara C. (Colton), he later worked as a construction supervisor for Hi-Lume Corp. in Huntington Station. Mr. Milne leaves behind his son, Cody; his girlfriend, Ann Rose Shannon; his father and stepmother, John and Mary Ann; his siblings: James and his wife Tina, Tina Corallo and her husband Kenny and Jean Buchanan and her husband Bob; his best friends: Stephen LaMarca and his family and Stephen Tocci and his family; as well as other loved ones and family members. He was predeceased by his mother, Barbara.
Deacon John Sheehan conducted a prayer service at Powell Funeral Home, Broadway, Amityville, on October 19, 2006. Rev. Father Richard Stelter, pastor, St. Martin of Tours R.C, Church officiated at a Mass of Christian Burial on October 20, 2006 assisted by the Consolation Ministry and members of the family. Private cremation was followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park on October 21, 2006.
