Whitney Howard, of Amityville, a senior in the school of Public Affairs at American University majoring in political science was named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 at American University, Washington, D.C.

Tokunboh E. Adesheila, of Amityville, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 at the

University of Buffalo of The State University of New York.

Elliot J. Wolk, of Copiague, a computer science major was named to the dean's list for the fall 2005 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York.

Kashima Brevard, of Copiague, was awarded an associate of applied science in criminal justice from the Katharine Gibbs School, Melville, in December 2005.

Caitlyn Horton, of Amityville, an 11th grader at Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School, was named February Student of the Month.
