Babylon shelter dog adopted for training by U.S. Customs and Border Protection enforcement
On Wednesday, August 17, Cindy Grob, supervisory canine enforcement officer, for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, adopted "Goose" from the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter. Goose is a black Labrador, one year old, who will be going to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia for 13 weeks of training. Upon completion of training, "Goose" will return to New York for a tour of duty at JFK Airport sniffing out drugs and explosives.
