Councilman Wayne R. Horsley, chair of the Town of Babylon Veterans’ Advisory Council, recently hosted a ceremony honoring 27 graduates of the Town’s first Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program. The CERT class was comprised solely of Babylon Town Veterans who received vigorous training in emergency preparedness from the SC Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services. Councilwoman Carol Quirk and Councilman Horsley are shown with the graduates as well as representatives from numerous Town and County agencies who were present to offer congratulations to The Town of Babylon’s First Vets’ Division’ graduates.
