That little expression is one of the pet peeves of newspaper editors, and by this time Mr. Charles F. Delano should know better than to say it. But that is what he said when we reminded him a few weeks ago that on May 1 (Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-four) he would have completed fifty years as editor and publisher of the Amityville Record.
