At the Library... Copiague 50 Deauville Blvd. 631-691-1111 •The Library is sponsoring a trip to Bear Mountain, Saturday, October 11. The bus will depart the Library 8 a.m. and then for the return trip, depart the park at 5 p.m. The cost is $16 per person for library card holders and $21 per person for non-cardholders. Experience the autumn beauty of the Hudson River Valley, hike the trails, visit the zoo or just relax by the lake. Visit the elegant Bear Mountain Inn, enjoy breathtaking scenery and the Oktoberfest delicacies. The price includes a box lunch, deluxe motor coach transportation, admission to the park and gratuities. •An estate planning seminar will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2 to 3 p.m. Certified financial planner Brian Vale will be at the library after the senior movie to talk about estate planning and how you can protect your independence and security and assess the costs of long-term care. A question and answer period will follow. |
