     John W. Duffy was simply "Dad" to all the kids at the Copiague High School Madrigal Choir.  He and his wife Ellen, one of the faculty members at the high school, became intensely dedicated to the choir once their daughter Jillian joined while she attended school there.

     Patrick Michael Wagner, a former resident of Amityville who attended school here, died July 13 of a heart attack. He had just joined the Navy Reserves and was jogging at the time he was stricken. He was 36 years old.

     Anthony J. Mrozik died August 1, 2002 at Broadlawn Manor Nursing Home. He was born October 13, 1919 in Brooklyn and was a retired knitter/weaver for Cuddle Knit Industries in Coram.
