Patrick Michael Wagner, former resident of Amityville
Patrick Michael Wagner, a former resident of Amityville who attended school here, died July 13 of a heart attack. He had just joined the Navy Reserves and was jogging at the time he was stricken. He was 36 years old.
Mr. Wagner was an Emergency Medical Technicial for Med Shore Ambulance Service in Anderson, South Carolina where he lived. "He was a wonderful kid," said his sister Jackie Kronenberg of Amityville. "He was generous and giving."
Mr. Wagner is also survived by his ex wife, Kim Wagner and their two children, Amy Lynn and Patrick Michael Jr. of Georgia, and by his ex wife Cheryl and their three children, Patrick Michael, Joshua Keith and Richard Timothy. His mother Mary Jane Wagner, with whom he made his home, also survives him, as does his sister Jean Roth and her husband Steven of Cleveland Georgia, his brother Thomas Wagner Jr., of Conyers, Georgia, his brother-in-law Humphrey Kronemberg of Amityville, his nephews Adam, and Humphrey Jr., and his niece Jaclyn.
In his spare time, Mr. Wagner enjoyed NASCAR racing and watching his favorite football team, the Miami Dolphins. He had also recently gone to diving school to better prepare him for his job.
"His children were his life," said his sister Jean.
Funeral services and burial were held in Anderson, South Carolina.
