•On Friday, August 16, 7:30 to 9 p.m. an audio/visual presentation will be offered on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef including marine wildlife, including the nesting, hatching and fierce struggle for survival of the Green Sea Turtles. Registration is for Program No. 538.

•Bill Tucker, who owns and operates a minor league baseball team in the Pacific Northwest affiliated with the San Francisco Giants will be at the library Wednesday, August 21, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. for coffee and conversation. He is also the author of DP or Billy and Jerry In The Promised Land, a book about his adventures in baseball including the purchase and operation of his team. Registration is for Program No. 544.

•On Thursday, August 22, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. a representative from the Suffolk County Surrogate Court will be at the library to discuss issues related to small claims court and landlord/tenant disputes and to answer all of your questions. Registration is for Program no. 546.
