Copiague Middle School benefits from fundraising efforts
Copiague Middle School is the beneficiary of the hard work and ambitious fundraising efforts of Copiague Eagle Scout Peter Robinson, Troop 284.
As part of his Eagle Service Project, Robinson reseeded, filled in potholes and installed new benches on the home and visitors sides of the Copiague Middle School softball field.
And if that wasn’t enough, Robinson also donated more than $375 to the school to help defray the cost of the new benches. "Now I know I will always be a part of Copiague history," stated Robinson
"We really appreciate everything Peter has done for the Copiague Middle School," stated Copiague Middle School principal Albert H. Voorneveld.
A special sign has been placed on the softball field fence to commemorate this generous gift to the Copiague School District.
