Brendan LaMar, the son of Karen and Paul LaMar of Amityville and a 1998 graduate of St. Anthony’s High School, graduated from Elon University in North Carolina on Saturday, May 25, with a bachelor of science degree in environmental studies.

LaMar studied abroad at Curtin University in Perth, Australia during the winter/spring semester 2001 and interned with the Surfriders Foundation’s Southern California chapter’s legal counsel and environmental watchdog in San Diego during January.
